Welcome

Equal Justice. Period.

The law is changing–but society is changing faster. LGBT individuals are finally gaining legal rights across the nation. But it’s slow going, and the law has never been quick to adapt. Questions about same-sex marriages, civil unions, and what happens when these relationships dissolve will only grow in the coming decades. I am dedicated to the principle that neither your gender, nor your partner’s, nor anything that happens between consenting adults, should have any bearing on the resolution of your case.

Experience

Whether you’ve been charged with a crime, have been injured by someone’s negligence, or are faced with a civil action, I have the experience you need on your side. I spent nearly four years helping people with limited resources for a Public Defender’s office before going into private practice. So whether you decide to take your case to trial, or you simply need someone to make sure nothing gets overlooked, I have the experience you need, and I bring the same dedication to your civil and domestic issues.

Compassion

Any time a family ends up in court is a tragedy, especially when children are involved. Legally dissolving a family—and the attendant questions of dividing assets and custody and visitation of children—is an emotional minefield under the best of circumstances. Frequently the legitimate issues of a case become clouded. I focus on resolving family and domestic issues professionally, and with as little animosity as possible, so that my clients can get on with their lives.
